Women entreprenuers supporting other women entrepreneurs
I am excited to share with you a story of women entrepreneurs helping women entreperenuers.
A few months ago I met a remarkable young lady when I was dropping my grand daughter off at school over the lunch hour. The young lady and I talked and shared a little of our stories. I was intrigued by her recent business venture. She purchased a mixology business just before Covid interrupted our lives. Not great timing but still exciting possibilities. My understanding is that she is a mobile bar, traveling tavern. When you have a party, family gathering, she comes with her portable bar ready to serve your guests. She does weddings off site. She has everything need to serve your guests. You need to do nothing. She does it all and she is really great at what she does. What a wonderful service one less HUGE worry of your mind.

I invited Kali to be a part of the Tearoom when we have our own space. I explained to her my dream, my vision. She requested some loose leaf tea to play with to create some delicious drinks. I provided her with a sample of most everything I have in stock at this time. She then introduced me to her friends.
Trina Bandura, Mandy Wark and Anna Dumas. The three of them are having a grand old time as my mother would say with a recent adventure. A Podcast entitled “Worked up Moms - pouring out the hard tea”. These ladies have conversations together that discuss everyday issues as moms, parents, and entrepreneurs. Life is tough, we don’t have to go it alone. When we are honest with each other we actually help. No one has to go it alone. These ladies are coulourful, honest and full of energy.
Worked up moms is a collaboration of 3 friends who love their kids, love their work, spend most of their calendaring lives and scheduling quality time while trying to laugh through it together. Listen to them bitch about stress and moming one week at a time

Together these ladies created some great alcoholic and non alcoholic recipes using my loose leaf tea. Kali began with making simple syrups from the tea and then the fun began. Mixing flavours and sampling the drinks. My husband and I enjoyed a drink (11am?) created using a favourite tea of mine and yours, Spa Day. Kali came over one day excited to show us what she had come up with thus far.

The vision, the dream is to make the simple syrup, bottle it and sell it to you my guest along with a recipe for both delicious alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. With warmer weather on its way I can see myself making some of these, enjoying a quiet moment on the front porch. Until we can dine in together you will have to blend these on your own. Once we have our own address, Kali will train my team members to carefully mix for you beautiful and delicious drinks.

I encourage you to message Kali, you have some small gatherings planned. Why not make it extra special and easier on your self. Have her take care of your guests. Also visit Trina, Anna and Mandy, find them on Facebook, Instagram. Listen to a podcast, hear their hearts, laugh with them.
I am so thankful for other women entrepreneurs who share my heart of encouraging each other. Lifting each other up. Supporting each other as we navigate life, business and family.
